; peek.  I named it "Rising Mist-Sprite" because it reminds me of 
; a wisp of spirit-vapor rising from a witches' cauldron.  I rated 
; the image at a 7.5, the extra half-point being a reward for the 
; coloring effort.

; The calculation time of 5-2/3 minutes is a bit slow, but the 
; result is worth the effort.  And as always, those with no time 
; or with new-fangled, DOS-deprived machines may avoid the calcula-

; Today here at Fractal Central began with 1 inch, 2.5cm of fresh 
; fluffy snow.  The snow ended by 10am, leading to a partly cloudy 
; afternoon with a temperature just above freezing.  The fractal 
; cats watched the action from the front window as I swept away 
; the fluffy snow.  Then they retired to their chosen sleeping 
; places for the better part of the day.  Because of a backlog of
