Today's image continues the same theme and increases ; the numner of recognizamle minibrots from two to seven. (Actu- ; ally, I have found fractals with far more minibrots, though I ; can't remember quite where.) ; ; Today's multiple minibrots are found in the negative X-axis area ; of the Z^(2.003)+C Mandeloid, one of the richest areas I know ; for minibrots. Like the seven samurai ready for battle, today's ; midgets are lined up, ready for whatever action may come their ; way. The name "Magnificent Seven" needs no explanation. ; ; Some minibrots have apparently already seen action, for they ; appear to have large parts already sliced off. The minibrot in ; the center and those in the lower left however are still in fine ; shape. ; ; The rating of a 7 shows what I think of the image. Those who ; consider a steady diet of minibrots to be boring may consider ; the image to be worth much less. But one thing that cannot be ; denied is that, if the image proves disappointing, the calcula- ; tion time of 21 seconds will have wasted little time. ; ; Those with absolutely no time to spare for running a parameter ; file may see the finished image at once on the FOTD web site at: ; ; ; ; Clouds, fog, rain and a temperature of 36F +2C spoiled Sunday ; here at Fractal Central for man and cats alike. The cats spent ; most of the day keeping warm, while the man spent the day ; pondering unanswerable questions and FL spent the day wondering ; why the man concerns himself with silly questions that cannot be ; answered. And out of all this confusion a fractal developed. ; ; Even more surprising is that the next fractal is already in the ; works, and will be posted in 24 hours. Until then, take care, ; and when a question makes no sense, (such as why does a good god ; cause or permit so much suffering), it is often a sign that the ; question is based on a wrong assumption. ; ; ; Jim Muth ; jamth@mindspring.com ; jimmuth@aol.com ; ; ; START PARAMETER FILE======================================= Magnificent_Seven { ; time=0:00:21.06-SF5 on P4-2000 reset=2004 type=formula formulafile=slices.frm formulaname=MandelbrotN center-mag=-1.687674335/\ +0.01375541/1938/1/-55/0 params=2.003/0/0/0/0/0 passes=1 float=y maxiter=1200 inside=0 outside=tdis colors=000qTbMUM4_IJWKXTLjQNzKMxNOvPQtRRrTTpVVnYWl\ _Yja_hc`febdgcafe_fgYehVejTekRdmPdnMdpKcqIcsEhyGct\ H_oIWjJReS00XJWTERUAMP6HQAGQEGRIGRMGSQGSTGTXGT`GUd\ GUhGTy4UkGUYSUKcO7rU6nZ6jc5fh5cm4_r4Ww4Ts3Sp3Rl3Ri\ 3Qe2Pb2PU2OU2OU6MU9KcDIcGGcJEcNCkQAnT8pX6r_4uc1tK2\ t_2tX2tU3tR3zN3zK4zH4zE4z53zK4zm4zM4zS5mX5kb5jg5lw\ 5me5ne5ow5pd5qc5rc5tb5ua5va5w`5x`5y_5z_5xa7wc8udAt\ fBsgDqiEpjFolHmnIloKkqLirNhtOguPhqNhnMijKigJjcHj`G\ kXEkUDkQBlNAlJ8mG7mC5n94n52n21l65j99hDCfGGdKKbNN`Q\ RZUVXXYV`aTceRghPjlNmoOlnPkmPklQjkQjjRiiRihShgTgfT\ geUfdUfcVebVeaWd`Xc_Yb_ZaZ_`Y`_YaZXbYWcXWdWVeVUfUU\ gTTgST`WSU_RNbQGfP9jO2mNAjRHgVPdYWaaa`bbZdcXfdVhdU\ jeSlfQnfPpaTjYXeU_`QcWMfRIjMFlIEmHDnHCoHCpHBqHArH9\ sH9sH8tH7uH6vH6wH5xH4yH4yH5wG5uG5sF5qF5oF6mE6kE6iE\ 6gD6eD1fE6dDAbDEaDI_DMzDQXDUVDZUDbSDfRDjPDnNDrMDvK\ DzJDyLJyNPyPUyR_yTeyVjuUf } frm:MandelbrotN {; Jim Muth b=p1, z=p2, c=p3+pixel: z=z^(b)+c, |z| <= 16 } ; END PARAMETER FILE========================================= ; ; ; ; _______________________________________________ ; Fractint mailing list ; Fractint@mailman.xmission.com ; http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/fractint
