; Another very busy day kept the fractal exploration time to a 
; minimum.  But I still managed to find something in a very 
; unusual parent, which is quite sensitive to changes in the 
; escape radius.

; The name came about when the dark worm-like shapes surrounding 
; the central minibrot reminded me of creatures called 'curl-ups' 
; that exist only in the etchings of Escher, the mathematical 
; artist.

; Unfortunately, too much math and too little art prevented me 
; from giving the image a rating, and the rather slow calculation 
; time of just under 8 minutes helped not a bit.
