This parent is nothing more than an ; arc of a circle with a tiny dot lying just outside the arc. A ; closer examination of this dot shows it to be a full-blown but ; tiny Mandelbrot set in rather shredded condition. Today's scene ; is located in the East Valley of this tiny M-set. ; ; I named the image "Deep Meditation", not because I practice yoga ; but because I had to meditate on the past to come up with the ; image. The meditation must have worked, for the image does ; exist and the parameter file of the image is included at the end ; of this discussion. ; ; Actually, the image is a minor reworking of an older one. ; Curiously, whenever I return to the older FOTD images, I almost ; always find ways I could have done them better. ; ; The rating of a 6 indicates that the image is a little above the ; long-term FOTD average.
