; Today's image is named "Eight Times Around"  I gave it this name 
; because the elements surrounding the central minibrot are indeed 
; arranged in the expected grouping of multiples of 2, which after 
; all is not so surprising.  I rated the image at a 7, which is 
; somewhat above average, though not exceptionally so.
; 
; The parent fractal can be described as vaguely resembling a 
; classic Mandelbrot set, even though it has no East Valley and no 
; negative spike.  It does have lots of chaos on its eastern side 
; however, and today's image is located in this chaos.
; 
; The image is notable for the chaos in the background. Actually 
; however, this chaos is not total.  When it is enlarged, some 
; degree of order does appear in certain places.
; 
; The calculation time of 1-1/2 minutes is appropriately brief.

; Except for a slight chill in the air, Monday was a near perfect 
; day here at Fractal Central.  The Kodachrome blue of the sky was 
; emphasized by a scattering of puffy white decorator clouds of 
; the cumulus variety, while the temperature hovered around 64F 
; 18C and the fractal cats sat on their shelf, wishing they could 
; go out.
; 
; My day, as well as FL's day was slightly slow, though still busy 
; enough to keep boredom at bay.  And at lunch, I wisely avoided 
; getting drawn into another philosophical discussion about a ques-
; tion that cannot possibly be answered.
