; I spent almost no time on today's image.  Most all day I was 
; occupied with optimizing the fractal computer for the internet.  
; But I did find a moment to dredge up an image that is just good 
; enough to reach FOTD status.

; The parent fractal came about when I combined 0.1 part of Z^10 
; with 1 part of Z^1.5 and added straight C.  This parent resem-
; bles a Mandelbrot set rotated about 180 degrees, with a large 
; open area beyond its East Valley (in this case, West Valley) and 
; a curly filament serving as its main stem.  The image is located 
; on this curly stem.

; The name "Zippy the Minibrot" refers to the extreme speed of the 
; image, which at a mere 6 seconds, is one of the fastest of all 
; time.  Once again, I could not give the image an honest rating.
