So far, so good. Its parent fractal ; is one of the largest I have ever found, needing the maximum ; possible outzoom before it fits onto the screen. No problem ; here either. I named the image "Forever Nameless", which is ; paradoxical because this is actually a name. OK, but fractals ; are meant to be observed with the eyes, not to be given clever ; names. ; ; Today's image is evaporated. I raised the escape radius to one ; googol, which caused all the 'outside' parts to vanish, leaving ; an image consisting totally of 'inside' stuff. This left-over ; inside stuff was then brought to life by the 'bof61' inside fill. ; ; The generating expression combines various negative portions of ; Z^(-1.2) and Z^(-4.4) then adds (1/C). ; ; The calculation time of 54 seconds is quite fast, I admit it. ; But the image can be seen instantly on the FOTD web site at: ; ; ; ; assuming Paul has already posted it there, that is. ; ; Heavy clouds, high humidity and sporadic rain showers spoiled ; Monday here at Fractal Central. The temperature of 86F 30C felt ; very sultry -- like an afternoon on the banks of the Panama ; Canal rather than the Susquehanna River. The fractal cats, who ; have never been to Panama, spent the day stretched on the cool ; tile floor. My day was average. FL, who was beginning to worry ; that it might never rain again, felt much relieved when the ; showers fell, even though the day's rain amounted to only 1cm. ; ; The next FOTD will be posted in 24 hours. Until then, take ; care, and be on the alert for alien invaders from space. ; ; ; Jim Muth ; jamth@mindspring.com ; jimmuth@aol.com ; ; ; START PARAMETER FILE======================================= Forever_Nameless { ; time=0:00:54.41-SF5 on P4-2000 reset=2004 type=formula formulafile=basicer.frm formulaname=MandAutoCritInZ function=recip float=y center-mag=-6.396910880855549/+1.12547947073241/\ 1.606963e+011/1/-17.5/0 params=-4/-1.2/-0.2/-4.4/0\ /1e+100/0/0 maxiter=1600 inside=bof61 periodicity=6 colors=000SFaVFZYFXaEUdERgEPjEMmEJpEHsEEwDBqLGkUMe\ bR_kXUtbZkYYl_Xl`VmbUncTneRofQphPpiOqkMrlLrnKsoItq\ KrmKqjJpgJodJnbIm_IlXHkUHjSHiPGhMGgJGfHFeEFdBEc8Jd\ CNdDSeEWeF_fGdfHhgIlgJqhKuhLziMzfOzcQy`SyXUxUWxRYw\ N_wKawHcvEevAgu7iu4kt0ms2mq4no7om9okBpiEqgGreIrcLs\ aNt_QuYOsTQqPSoKUmFWkFaYEgJDm4EcMEZPFUSFPVFKZGFaGA\ dG5gH0kN0`T0QZ0Fd03RPRDnnDlkEjhJd_OZRTTIZM8aIJeDVh\ 8fl3rrQ`xmIkpHZsFod0atMeuUhv`lwhpxppqppjoqbnqWmqPl\ rHkrAjs2in2fi3cd3`_4YV4VQ5SL6PJGRBSQNIOSKLWNI`PFeS\ CdWBc`Abe8aj7`o6_t4Vp4Ql4Kh4Fd4A`44X38Z6C`9GbCLdFP\ fIThLYjPBkeAcd8Wb7O`5G_48Y20WGC_VPciagxnltlmpjnlho\ hfpddq`brX`sSYuXSraMogFlbOlcQieSffUbhW_iYXk_TeWQ_S\ NUNKOJHHEERHJUFLXCN_APb7Re5Ti2Wd8W_EXVKYPQZNRSLTKJ\ VCDca4ntCcdAdh8dl6ep7TY6HJ544GA9RGEbMJmSOyYTmSQmSS\ mSUlSXlSZlS`kTclRamP_nNXoLVpJTqGQpINnLJlNFjQBhT7fQ\ BaRAXRASS9l2Kd6HXADPE94Qn } frm:MandAutoCritInZ {; Jim Muth a=real(p1), b=imag(p1), d=real(p2), f=imag(p2), g=1/f, h=1/d, j=1/(f-b), z=(((-a*b*g*h)^j)+(p4)), k=real(p3)+1, l=imag(p3)+100, c=fn1(pixel): z=k*((a*(z^b))+(d*(z^f)))+c, |z| < l } ; END PARAMETER FILE========================================= ; ; ; ; ; _______________________________________________ ; Fractint mailing list ; Fractint@mailman.xmission.com ; http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/fractint ;
