; obscured yellow stuff near the center of the frame.

; Tomorrow will be the actual day of doom -- time to close the 
; rectangular book.  The rectangle will be gone and the remains 
; won't make much of an image, but it's kind of hard to make a 
; good picture of something that is not there.

; Clouds arrived just before sunrise here at Fractal Central today 
; and thickened throughout the day, while the temperature hovered 
; around 43F +6C.  The approaching rain arrived at sunset.  The 
; fractal cat had a peaceful day; the humans' day was not quite as 
; peaceful.

; Unless the end arrives sooner than expected, the next FOTD will
