; Today's image shows some of the craziness that can erupt in an 
; oversized Mandelbrot set corrupted in its depths by Z^(4.5) 
; energies.  The central minibrot is clearly of order 4.5, while 
; the orangish disk surrounding it holds 9 lobes.

; The image is located in the half-morphed East Valley of a small 
; minibrot on the main stem of the oversized parent M-set; the art 
; and math ratings are both an average 6.
; 
; The image is notable for its lack of obvious discontinuities.  
; One discontinuity does extend northeast from the minibrot, but 
; vanishes by the time it reaches the edge of the sandy orangish 
; area.
; 
; The name "Sandy Hectares" is a spin-off of 'Sandy Acres'.  A 
; hectare, as most of the world knows, is a measure of area in the 
; metric system.  It is equal to about 2-1/2 U.S. acres.
