; In today's image we return to the workhorse MandAutoCritInZ 
; formula, which automatically initializes Z to a critical value 
; of the iterated expression, thereby eliminating the need of 
; tracking down critical values by hand, as is necessary with the 
; MandelbrotMix3a formula.

; Today's parent fractal came about when I mixed 3.3 negative 
; parts of Z^(-1.3) with one negative part of Z^(-5.3) before 
; adding (1/C) on each iteration.  This parent is a typical 
; oversized double-negative fractal with three large, vertically 
; stacked bays and a prominent, nearly circular, fractal fan 
; extending east.  A very prominent minibrot lies just beyond this 
; fan, connecting it to a large ring farther to the east.  Today's 
; scene lies rather deep in the East Valley of this minibrot.

; I named the image "Totally Torus" when I viewed it from a 
; distance and the brilliant pinkish ring around the central 
; minibrot impressed me as a torus.

; Mostly because of the brilliance of this ring I rated the art 
; aspect a 7.  The math aspect remains a 6.
; 
; The image is a relatively slow one, requiring almost six minutes 
; to complete on one of today's super fireball machines.  The time 
; will be notably longer on an older unit.  Viewing the image on

; Fractal Central today.  The temperature reached a high of 59F 
; 15C early in the afternoon, but began falling as the day 
; progressed.  The old fractal cat spent the day being annoyed 
; by the playful antics of the new fractal cat, who amused herself 
; playing with the old cat's tail, while the fractal humans kept 
; an eye on the action.
