; temperature of 34F +1C, with forecasts of much colder and 
; snowier conditions to come.  The fractal cats had a quiet day 
; except when 4.5 pound (2kg) Jasmine jumped on 15 pound (7kg) 
; Nico by surprise and bowled him over before he knew what had 
; happened.  He then quickly subdued her, letting her know who is 
; still top cat.  The humans meanwhile spent the day preparing for 
; another year.
; 
; The next FOTD will be posted before the year ends, or maybe not. 
; Until whenever, take care, and now, at the end of 2013, I hear
