; Today's image is not nearly as threatening as its name implies.  
; The "Arc of Destruction" is the arc of evaporation that is 
; advancing from the southeast and has been caught in the process 
; of devouring the central minibrot.  The position of the arc is 
; determined by the value of the imag(p3) parameter, which sets 
; the escape radius.  Increasing the value moves the arc to the 
; left, devouring more of the minibrot; decreasing it moves the 
; arc to the right, restoring some of the already devoured stuff.

; The art aspect of the image is worth only an average 6.  The 
; math aspect rates an excellent 8.  These arcs of evaporation are 
; one of the more interesting fractal things I have yet stumbled 
; upon.

; Perhaps the best aspect of the image is its fireball calculation 
; time of a mere 20 seconds.  The parameter file must first be set 
; up however, but even this may be eliminated by checking the FOTD
