After a few hours in labor at the hospital, Charlotte had dilated to 5cm, so they were ready for her to recieve an epidural. You think she feels better in this photo taken about 30 minutes after the epidural was inserted? So do I.

This was the first photo of her. It was taken as she and I moved from the Cesarean operating room to the nursery. At this point, it's only been about 15 minutes since she was born.

Shortly after arriving at the nusery, I took this photo as she was weighed and measured.

Charlotte's mother (Dorothy Hope) and I went home to get some sleep, arriving at about 5:20 am. With a few hours sleep, we went to church at 11 am for just 1 hour then back home for a quick bite before returning to the hospital. This photo was taken in the afternoon when Nadia was about 17 hours old.

If you wuold like to receive announcements regarding Nadia and new photos (and later videos?) that we post, feel free to sign up on the baby-announce mailing list. This list has extremely low traffic (I think it's about 4 message from Nadia's birth until 10 months old).

Unfortunately, several people (most notably, many extended family members) who have asked for information regarding Nadia have told me that the never received the emails I've sent with information and links to the photos website. It turns out that several email addresses which I was given were no longer functioning or other such issues prevented these messages from getting through. If you are one of those whose email I did not have or didn't have correctly, visit the baby-announce web page to sign up for that extremely low vlume list and go to the http://lamontpeterson.org/photos/ website to see dozens of pictures taken regularly since Nadia's birth.
