Logan Electronics
They manufactured a range of keyboards with the Logan logo during the 70s into

circuitry. Their top organ was the Caravelle which had fully polyphonic flutes,
strings, piano as well as solo and synthesiser sections, each section having
its own sustain, vibrato controls. The flutes could also be routed through an
inbuilt rotary speaker.
The company had directors in common with GIS (also in Porto Reconati) who produced
a number of keyboards & pianos which were badged as other manufacturers
instruments including the lower end of the Baldwin range. No longer in business.

Scottish Theatre Organ Preservation Society (S.T.O.P.S.) was founded in 1972
with the principal aims of: one, furthering the appreciation and knowledge of
the theatre pipe organ; two, preserving theatre pipe organs (wherever possible
in their original homes), through the maintenance and upgrading of existing
instruments; and three, promoting the art of playing the theatre pipe organ.

The reed organ was once an important domestic instrument, offering a cheap alternative
to the ever-popular family piano while at the same time providing a suitable
instrument for accompanying family hymns on a Sunday. It was the product of
a world-wide industry which turned out hundreds of thousands of organs a year
at its peak. Reed organs are today the province of collectors and museums.
