GSL Commemorative Kits.

Note: Starting at the Tenth International Championship, the GSL Trustees decided to offer a special premium to all registrants. Alternatively, major kit manufacturers would offer 12 cases of kits which were specially-packaged to include a GSL sticker (for that year of the Championship) in the box, a sticker on the box lid (after which the kit was shrink-wrapped). Finally, a set of photoetched GSL license plates (created by Bob Wick and photoetched by Fred Hultberg/Fotocut) were taped to the box lid.

These kits are highly prized today. The tradition will continue for all GSL Championships. Special stickers will be affixed and the photoetch set will be created by the consortium of Rik Hoving Customs and the Model Car Garage.
