The original founder, Tom Cammermeyer, is still with the Center, and still guides the many participants through his Norwegian philosophy of Friluftsliv-meaning something so complex that it could not be explained without experiencing it. I will try to define it as, living your life with nature, and enjoying what comes naturally in this world. You often hear Tom making comments such as, "Slow down and enjoy the journey."
