Oasis Seed is located in the town of Oasis, Millard County, Utah. The Millard County area has a rich history for alfalfa seed production. Production of alfalfa seed began as early as 1876. In 1925 one-third of the alfalfa seed grown in the United States was grown in the Millard County region.  
     The Oasis Seed Cooperative was incorporated in 1941 to facilitate the cleaning and marketing of the alfalfa seed produced in the area. Oasis Seed has endured the test of time and remains a strong, viable supplier to the alfalfa seed industry.
