Welcome to the World of Flags, fellow cyberlings! Also bienvenu, willkommen, bienvenido, benvenuto, and dobro pozhalovaty! My name is Peter Flaagmann and this is a personal flag-lover's journey. It may touch your life. It has touched mine.
I am a flag aficionado. That means I like flags as a hobby. Also, a little luck allowed this hobby to create a small, original business -- the Ambassador Flag® Product Line. If you already like flags or if you think flags could interest you -- read on. I want to share a few ideas with you.
Scroll to the "image map" below. Clicking there will take you into this world. How I wish I had this available years ago when I went near-silly with frustration searching for flag information. Well, Flaagmann's pain is your gain -- here's a flag salute to cyberspace!
Let's start with two questions:
You'll discover answers to the first question under the four keys in the top row. For the second question check some of the other buttons. If you've had a :-( day and want to relax in Flag Cyberland, turn to the "Flag Humor" page for some zany, nutty possibilities. Or perhaps you're curious about The Flagman's Challenge -- find it revealed under the "History and Language of Flags" page. I've placed a lot of information at your fingertips. Any other questions? Let your fingers do the byting: email to tmealf@aol.com. Thanks!
As you scroll through the pages, you'll find that two subjects lie close to my heart. One is the Ambassador Flag® product family -- naturally, because I conceived and nursed and grew it into the world's most beautiful collection of lapel flags (Am I prejudiced? Of course. Please forgive me).
The other personal subject is "How to Design Your Own Flag." I'm more than a little proud about it, too. And more than a little prejudiced. Click on it and you'll see why.
OK, enough plain talk -- let's unfurl some flag-talk.
NOTE: "ALFs" = Shorthand for "Ambassador Lapel Flags®"
