It is Planned Parenthood Action Council's position that all individuals have the right to access reproductive health education and services. Accordingly, we support: 1. Securing and improving measures to ensure access to medically accurate sex education for all citizens. 2. Securing and improving measures to ensure adequate family planning funding for organizations and agencies that provide such services. 3. Securing and improving measures to ensure equal access to all FDA approved contraceptive devices regardless of insurance coverage or financial need. As a matter of sound public policy and a person's right to privacy, Planned Parenthood Action Council supports the 1973 Supreme Court decision, Roe v. Wade. As such, it is the position of Planned Parenthood Action Council that no policies or laws should undermine the intent of the Supreme Court or a woman's right to choose an abortion procedure.
