Trenchcoat Farewell Project

This site hasn't seen much updating of late and I apologize for that. I tend to let a few things to add pile up before anything gets added. I don't have as much time as I once did for writing, so progress on the individual items tends to be either slow or nonexistent.

Of late, the vast majority of my writing time as been spent in aid of completing my segments for the 'Trenchcoat Farewell Project'. 'Trenchcoat' is/was a fan fiction 'Doctor Who' series started by James Bow. It ran for five 'seasons' before time became precious and progress petered out on the sixth book. The farewell project is designed to be a hardcover book collecting all the stories in the 'Trenchcoat' canon, including some that were previously unpublished. All five of the original seasons will be printed, the 'first' season for the 'Trenchcoat' Eighth Doctor (which previously did not exist and was only alluded to) is being completed, and as much progress that can be made on the sixth 'season' is being done. All the stories are being remastered for the book and new artwork has been commissioned. It sounds like it will be an excellent item. More information regarding the series and the book can be found at:

My personal involvement in the project is this: long ago (at least it seems like it) I wrote one of the stories for the first season of the 'Trenchcoat' Eighth Doctor 'Evening Falls...'. It was the first of that season to be written and has been noted as the reason behind other stories of that season being written. Few people have read it, a fact that will change after it's printed. It's a weird story (you expect otherwise?) and I like it. If I get called to edit it, I shall. I am also working on a story for the sixth 'season' entitled 'The Steel Nursery'. It's coming along more slowly than I'd like, but I shall have at least a framework of the story completed for publication. If need be the rest will be covered a la the 'Shada' video release.

The 'Trenchcoat' series, by in large, is an excellent read. The books have always been well printed, the art excellent, the stories interesting, and there's always something extra to amuse. I'm sure the 'Farewell Project' book will be no different and I encourage all to preorder a copy.

Thanks for the time,
