Are You Being Served
In 1998 (or so, please forgive a misfiring memory), some PBS stations were announcing the return of a 'lost' 'Are You Being Served?' episode. If I'm remembering the story correctly, this was not exactly accurate. The episode turned out to be one of the Christmas episodes ('The Punch and Judy Affair' 26-Dec-79 I believe) that the BBC had simply forgotten to send with the rest of the episodes when they were originally being sent to America. I suppose it was 'lost' in that, as far as America was concerned, it was missing for a time, but it was never gone from the archives.
