- 'The Wrong End of Time' Part One (28-Sep-70), Part Two (5-Oct-70), Part Three (12-Oct-70), Part Four (19-Oct-70), Part Five (26-Oct-70), Part Six (2-Nov-70) (all exist in black and white, originally in colour)
- 'The Time of the Ice Box' Part One (9-Nov-70), Part Two (16-Nov-70), Part Three (23-Nov-70), Part Four (30-Nov-70), Part Five (7-Dec-70) (all exist in b/w, originally in colour)
- 'The Year of the Burn Up' Part One (21-Dec-70), Part Two (28-Dec70), Part Three (4-Jan-71), Part Four (11-Jan-71), Part Five (18-Jan-71), Part Six (25-Jan-71) (all exist in b/w, originally in colour)
The entire series exists as 16mm monochrome telerecordings. 'The Time of the Ice Box' Part Six is the only colour episode to still be held in it's original colour format. A strike caused the remainder of the series to be recorded and broadcast in black and white and therefore is held in its original format. It is believed that 'The Year of the Burn Up' Part Six was the last to be recorded and broadcast in colour, however it is possible that three more episodes were recorded in colour and simply broadcast in black and white due to the strike (these would be 'The Year of the Burn Up' Parts 7 and 8 as well as the first episode of the final 6 part story 'The Day of the Clone'). British video releases have not used the colour version of 'Ice Box' part Six so as to cause no confusion for the buying public.
