Ben Nye Character Makeup Kit

Tops for Halloween, clowning and masquerade. Ben Nye creme makeups are easy to apply, blend and remove. Quality components and detailed directions help the novice and experienced artist achieve delightful, colorful and sometimes frightful effects.

Instructors often rely on Kits for clowning, aging and masquerade. Ample supply of makeup will last through several classes, rehearsals or productions.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All Grease and Cream makeup require powdering to "Set" the makeup and remove the shine, please refer to our selection of Face Powders. Excess powder is removed with a Powder Brush.

Our own stunt blood formulated for stage or film. Bright red color looks great on video. Not for use in the mouth (nasty it is).

Blood Pak
Fill these gelatin capsules with Stage Blood several hours before use. Bite into capsules, and let the blood flow.

Ben Nye Effects Gels, 1oz/29ml & 2oz/58ml
Useful, realistic colored (in three different colors) gels produce durable self-made wounds, cuts, burns and scars. Warm until gel turns to a liquid (melt in hot water and spread onto the skin with a spatula). Create wound and allow to "set" as it cools.

Ben Nye Effects Gel Wound Kit (wound & burn kit)

Same as the above, but in kit packaging with instruction card

Design durable and realistic lacerations, burns, wounds and scars, with this useful pack of gels. Wounds may be pre-made. Detailed instructions included. Available in 1 oz or 2 oz sets of Blood, Scar and Flesh. Expect 30-50 aplicaitons per ounce.

Adhesives and Removers

Spirit Gum
An amber colored, alcohol/resin liquid adhesive for applying Crepe Hair moustaches and beards, wigs, fake noses, and bald caps. Remove with Spirit Gum Remover.

Matt Spirit Gum
Adhesive made from natural resins with a thin consistency developed for film and TV, Suitable for lace hair goods.

Ben Nye Spirit Gum Adhesive
Our sticky adhesive dreis to a flat finish and keeps lace beards, hair pieces and prosthetic appliances attached firmly. Tap adhesive until "tacky" before use. Remove from skin, hair pieces and prosthetics with Spirit Gum Remover, Bond Off! or Remover-It All.

Medical Adhesive
A silicone-based adhesive for extremely sensitive skin. Medical Adhesive is pressure-sensitive and dries very fast. Must be removed or thinned with Medical Adhesive Remover. (K06531, K06532, K06533, see Skin Adhesives Page above)

Ben Nye Prosthetic Adhesive
Apply this durable adhesive to securely bond prosthetic appliances, such as latex ears or clown noses. Durable against perspiration. Remove with Remove-It All.

Spirit Gum Remover
Quicly dissolve the sticky residues of Spirit Gum Adhesive with this effective remover. Follow with Hydra Cleanse or soap and water.

Bond Off! (Medical Adhesive Remover)
Ben Nye Removes Prosthetic Adhesive and Spirit Gum. Thoroughly cleans Spirit Gum, Medical Adhesive and similar residues from skin and appliances. Follow with Hydra Cleanse or soap and water.

BN-NS: Nylon Stipple Sponge. The standard for applying texture to makeup. Cut the 3" x 4" block into small sections; trim hard edges of sponge to avoid harsh edges. Especially useful with Liquid Latex, Nose Wax, Cremes, Thick Blood and Stage Blood to create beard stipple, bruising, road rash abrasions and prosthetic texturing. Disposable.
