Doug's Movie Music

Recently an old friend of mine, Douglas Erekson, sent me some songs that will be on his new album. They are adaptions of old hymns set to his style of blue grass. It reminds me a lot of the sound track from "Oh Brother, Where art Thou?" but they have Doug's unique style that he insists isn't true blue-grass. It's sort of a Rocky Mountain blue-grass, or sagebrush or salt grass of some kind. Anyway, I couldn't help but think of chase music from a movie soundtrack, you know, that catchy style that makes you stomp your foot as cars crash into each other. It's perfect for someone's movie and if that's you, please contact him (not me) and be sure to tell him Steve sent you.
