We know when a backup is scheduled and you are notified via e-Mail if a backup did not take place or if the backup is not valid.

We do not monitor if a backup has taken place. Only when a backup has successfully completed do we send an e-Mail. There is no intervention to ensure a backup has taken place or that it is a valid backup.
