SPONSORS: The Gadabout Volkssport Club will sponsor a volkswalk along the Weber River in Riverdale Utah. For more info please call 801-782-8580 or (on event day cell 801-390-3322.)

START POINT: The club will have a registration table at the trail head parking lot Please park in trail head parking area off of 31st Street and Parker Drive. Watch for our sign.

START TIME: Walk between 8:00 and 11:00 am, and finish by 1:00 .

DIRECTIONS: From Salt Lake City take I-15 north and exit 341 east on 31st Street. Turn Right on Parker Drive. The road curves twice to the right. Trail side parking lot is on left right across the bridge. From Brigham City going south take exit 341, turn left toward the mountains, and follow directions above. Watch for our sign!

PROCEDURES: walk, jog, or run at your own pace. Each participant must carry a start card and have it validated at the control point.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Is on an improved paved trail along the Riverdale Weber River section from 31st Street south toward Riverdale City offices. This is just a part of the 27 miles of improved trail corridors recently completed in the Ogden area. Please enjoy the scenery. Strollers or wheelchairs may be used.
STIPULATIONS: With registration for this event the participants accept the guidelines for AVA Volkssport events and agree to observe the principles of good sportsmanship. Littering is not permitted. The event is open to everyone. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Pets must be on a leash. SORRY--NO REFUNDS IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO WALK.

REGISTRATION: .Fee to participate is $3 each. This covers our costs to sponsor the event. AVA Credit stamp is available to those who have purchased event/distance books. New walkers packets are available for $5.

SPECIAL NOTE: This event is sanctioned by the AVA of the IVV. There is still time to help promote other events. We have an event on National Trails Day sponsored by Weber Pathways on June 6th. Also seasonals in Evanston and Ft Bridger and four more in the St George area. Please tell us where you would like to walk, we need your suggestions and help to sponsor more events.
