"The Happy Family," by Bessie Pease Gutmann
Comment: "The Happy Family" was originally entitled "Who Says Race Suicide," but the name was changed to the more popular one when the print was reissued in 1907. The postcard bears that same title. Coincidentally, that same year Bessie and Hellmuth Gutmann began their own "happy family" with the birth of their first child, Alice
