Lawmen of the
Old West Badges
- Pony Express Messenger or
Wells Fargo Agent Old West Badges. These
exact replica badges are cast from a tin and zinc alloy,
using molds made from the original, authentic badge, and
has a pin soldered on the back. Special care and
attention has been given to retaining every minute detail
of the original badge.
The original Old West badges were individually handmade by pounding and / or sawing Spanish or American coins, and hand engraved. Later, the badges were made by the prisoners at the Yuma, Arizona and La Tuna, New Mexico prisons. 4MZZ41
