The tyranist's thoughts
Here we are again. To lay it out straight, what I liked about this entry is that it got back to the original mythos. What I didn't like is that it just played out as pretty average.
So Eli and Joshua mysteriously lose their father. They are transplanted to Chicago where Eli plants some corn and all the normal mayhem is unleashed in the city.
There really isn't anything new to say about this. I felt like it was a pretty average movie and at least had a sort of new take on the same idea. See it if you like the series, skip it if you don't. I suspect that it will only really appeal to those who already like these movies.
