The tyranist's thoughts
Mediocre is the highest praise that you could expect anyone to give this movie. Even then I think it is probably an exaggeration. Thank God Donald Pleasance had no more than a confusing bit part in this otherwise deplorable movie.
Three witches are executed in 1683 in the small town of Devonsville. One of them leaves a curse on the town. 300 years later, three single women suddenly move into town at the same time. Hmmm. I think you can see where this is going.
There isn't much that is really that good about this movie. Donald Pleasence had fifteen minutes of screen time that seemed completely unrelated to the rest of the movie and he didn't even perform the voice-overs that should have been his character. The main character liked to be naked but she couldn't act other than that. The townspeople were sort of unconvincing in their piety.
Just don't bother with this one. You'll be better off having not seen it.
