Welcome to the Sci-Fi Repository. Here we try to disseminate some of our categoric knowledge of science fiction and fantasy literature. As we read and reread the many science fiction books that pass through our hands every year, we will review them for your benefit. Those of you who already patronize the Horror Film Compendium will notice that we use a similar but slightly modified format for this area. We have chosen ten genre elements that are very common in science fiction and fantasy and rank their presence in a book on a scale of 1 to 10. We will, of course, also include a personal review of the work that may or may not influence you. To help your decision of whether or not to trust us, I should mention that the Spectre and I have been sci-fi junkies for the majority of our lives. We have differing tastes but we both have a profound love for science fiction.
Of course, not all books are worth even finishing. If you can't find a book that you think we probably should have reviewed first check the Airlock and if you can't find it there email us using the links below.

We also have a section of the site that will be specializing in reviews of Doctor Who books. This is separated because of the monumental task of handling all of the Doctor Who canon as well as the fact that tyranist is solely in charge of getting them read. |
For those of you sick enough to be interested (and for our own infernal pleasure) there is now a Stats page. If you are looking for how many other people read the site, don't bother. This is merely a place for us to keep track of our coverage.
