tyranist's Review
This, of course, would be the quasi-romantic entry in the series. I say quasi because it really doesn't ever get close
enough to the romance to really threaten anyone. This has always been the least satisfying part of the chronicles for me.
It lacks the youthful energy that the rest have and instead gets pretty whiny and self-pitying at times. The character
development isn't as strong and the plot just a little weaker. Still, it is important to read if you intend to continue
reading the chronicles. There are events that will pop up later.
