tyranist's Review
I find it difficult to review one of the books that founded my love for Science Fiction and Fantasy. This is probably true
for many others as well. Suffice it to say that I love this book and those that follow it. I have often heard criticism of
The Fellowship of the Ring say that it is too slow and often the reason that people don't make it through the entire
trilogy. I find this to be patently false. Every journey has a beginning, and this one is as exciting as any other. Naturally,
I recommend that you read this novel and those that follow it if you wish to consider yourself any kind of respectable member
of the Science Fiction/Fantasy community. And if I ever hear anyone say that Tolkien was just ripping off Terry Brooks again,
I will kill them.
