Spectre's Review
The first thing to stand out for me on this one is the fact that it's not only first person perspective, but it's first person from several different people's perspectives. I thought that was pretty cool. I enjoyed the book, though it did take an incredibly long time to mount up to any real action or climax. However, if you enjoy socio-political science fiction, this one's for you. It does have some military aspects, but not much. There were several aspects involving a ton of different points of view, and most of the book was tied up in some sort of side-handle to the actual plot. I did enjoy it. It was a fun ride, with pretty okay action. I wouldn't mind examining more of Mr. Thomas' writings.
