Spectre's Review
This is a spectacular story. Thw world seems kind of small at first (and it is), but a huge tale is woven out of the tiny little place. One of my favorite things of the book was Cashel, a simple shepherd, who discovers he is a very powerful wizard. So powerful he can fight and destroy demons with his bare hands. The pace of the story was quite fast. David Drake has a lot of writing experience, and the way the words flowed from the book illustrate this quite well. The word usage was wonderfully spectacular. I'm gonna have to read more of this series.
