Spectre's Review
This entire serires was wonderful. I must admit, it took me a little bit to get used to the writing style in the first book, but I
think it's just because I came off of a different type of book right before, and adjusting to the style of sci-fi of W. Michael
Gear took me a couple of days. Each book came to a definitive end on its own, while still carrying noteworthy pieces of plot
into the next book, and throughout all three. The end of the last book seemed to be a bit rushed, but it was still quite
satisfying. A lot of people die in this series (not too many of the main characters, though). I really got a good feel of Gear's
galaxy here, and had an opportunity to be taken to all quarters of the place. I must also inform you that the third and final
book of the series is by far the best.
Spectre's Rating
Definitely permanent collection material.
