Yautja do have advanced technology compared to Verge standards.  Technology in Yautja ships ranges from PL6 - PL8.  Some of the more notable devices are Spacefoling, FTL's; Gravitic redirector, engines; Matter converter, power sources; Cloaking units, Ablative shields, Energy compiliers, and a variety of weapons

Most ships of the Yautja would dance rings around the Stellar Nation's ships.   Yautja ships have few weaknesses, but the lack of discovery in Super-Materials lends to Yautja spaceships having crystallis (or, rarely alloy or cerametal) armor.  Crystallis armor is highly effective against energy weapons, but not against other forms of attack.  However, this only becomes a problem for the Yautja when their powerful Ablative shields collapse.

The greatest advantage the Yautja starships have is the ability to use Space folding technology to travel faster than light.  This PL8 technology is very efficient for many reasons.  Spacefolding is instantaneous and can be used again as soon as a safe distance from the entry point is attained.

The reason the Yautja remain only myths and legends is lent to the Cloaking units they have on their ships and persons.  Many Verge ships have encountered Yautja ships and have never been aware of their presence.

Fortunately for the Verge, Yautja have, very few of the larger capital starships.  They are not interested in much other than personal combat, but if it comes down to a fight, the Vergers will have their hands full fighting Yautja ships.
