Who Is That Masked Man? Who Cares!

Rumor has it that FOX is running, or has already run, the newest addition to The Masked Magician series.
I haven’t seen an episode, but I have seen some chat on magic chat sites that support this, and once again many magicians are wondering what to do about it. Many have suggested boycotting the sponsors and writing nasty letters to FOX.

I'd like to suggest that boycotting the many sponsors would be counter productive, and difficult without disrupting your daily lives. And as a not so wise man once said, very wisely, if that happens the terrorists win.
Any massive boycott by magicians will only be used as publicity for FOX and incentive to make more such shows. These letters will only please the sponsors."See all these letters! Thousands more than last time we did this bit, which means thousands more are watching!"

The best way to handle this is through a strategic combination of sarcasm, and just ignoring it. Proper use of these attacks can be powerful, and will render the MM as ridiculous and insignificant.
There are some great spoofs of MM on YouTube, do a search for some great ideas.

With this new strategy in mind, I’d like to offer my first attack:

#7. He wants to be known as the next Vallentine-o-dini...or something like that. What was that last guys name?

#6. Because the court order said he only had to stop wearing the high heels and ball gag.

#5. It symbolic of justice. It is made from the fabric of his dead brother's (Dan Reid) black vest.

The same vest Reid was wearing when he was killed along with the other Rangers… wait, that’s the Lone Ranger.

#4. He owes Mac King a lot of money… and we all know about Mac’s legendary temper!

#3. He’s a woosy.

#2. He’s really, really ugly.

#1. That’s not a mask. (see number 2 above!)
