Mr. Pinball Tip:

I had a Williams Space Mission that someone had painted the entire cabinet white. Upon inspection it appeared that the paint was latex based. A couple of cans of "GOOF OFF" aerosol paint remover was purchased. Do not use the liquid goof off as it is too hard to keep control of the quantity applied. Move your machine out on the patio or in the back yard in the sun and spray about a 12" area. Let sit for a minute or so and you will be amazed at how the paint just peels off with a putty knife! Neutralize with water. Latex paints will not adhere to the original oil-based paint. Do NOT try this on newer decaled machines. This one had a very good paint job underneath so I do not know why it was repainted. This will NOT work if the cabinet was repainted with a oil-base paint.
