The tyranist's thoughts
Now I've never been a fan of the "Tales from the Crypt" TV series (mostly I hate the cryptkeeper and his inane puns), but I am a fan of Dennis Miller and of vampire flicks so I had a lot of fun watching this movie. Rish, who is at least twice the Dennis Miller fan that I am, kept warning me about how terrible it was. I didn't listen and ended up enjoying myself immensely. This isn't your typical horror film and while it also isn't the greatest horror film ever made, it is exactly what it promises to be. I mean think about it. If you rent a movie called Bordello of Blood, you shouldn't really be expecting The Omen should you? Just relax and go into this one prepared to laugh a little and enjoy the scenery. Oh, and if you can get past the cryptkeeper parts, you might have your sanity still.
