The tyranist's thoughts
We love Bruce Campbell, but then I think everyone does, so when a buddy handed me a tape of this one I couldn't pass it up. It might be a little bold, but I think that the Sci-Fi channel is coming up with some of the best horror out there for its originals. Not that this one was produced by Sci-Fi, but I can't imagine many other stations showing it at all.
A couple of penal system officers are transporting some kind of mass-murderer (played by your hero and mine, Bruce) through a blizzard. Well, some hot coffee gets spilled and they end up wrapped around a tree. The nearest structure happens to be a rural airport in which a bunch of disgruntled people are snowed in. Yea! Guess what happens next.
The situation is derivative, the dialogue is campy, the effects mediocre, but I had a lot of fun watching this one. Gimme a good B-movie with Bruce in it and I'll take it anyday over some of the crap they're pushing in the theatres now.
There really isn't much to say about this one since it is a pretty straight-forward, made for TV affair, but if you get a chance, check it out. You might enjoy it.
