Job Summary

Assemble, modify, test, troubleshoot, install, maintain and repair manufacturing machinery, process instrumentation, and control systems. Prepare equipment for shipment. Position is full time with benefits.

Requirements
  • Previous experience as a skilled mechanical technician/auto mechanic/avid mechanic
  • Ability and propensity to follow assembly instructions; be very hands-on
  • Skilled with hand and power tools
  • Able to lift/manipulate 40+ pounds several times a week, stand for several hours, walk, reach, and climb around and on top of equipment
  • High level of safety practice and awareness
  • Basic computer fluency in Word, Outlook and file management
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized, systematic, and keep an orderly/uncluttered assembly area
  • Demonstrate a good attitude, good team/interpersonal skills, and a desire for ongoing learning
  • Able to think and work independently, demonstrate attention to details, be reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
  • US Citizenship or Green Card required
  • Experience with wiring, machine controls, and electrical schematics preferred
  • High school or GED required. Some college preferred

Your Basic Assignment in this Job:

You will be responsible for answering the telephone, distributing mail, hospitality tasks, keeping the kitchen clean, and other projects as assigned; particularly supporting Accounting and Human Resources.

Skills and Training you need for this Position:
  • Interact professionally and pleasantly with customers and co-workers, by phone and in person.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; the ability/desire to learn new programs.
  • Detail oriented, very organized, and able to work independently; above average work ethics.
  • Consistently demonstrate constructive interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality and communicate discreetly.
  • Eye for efficiency and process improvement.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Must be reliable and have an excellent attendance record.
  • Clerical or entry-level interest in Human Resources and Accounting.
  • Skilled with social media. Interested in using social media for recruitment.
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds; will occasionally need to do some lifting and hands-on tasks.
  • Must have a drivers’ license and a clean driving record.
Additional Information:
  • Approximately 30-40 hours / week, starting at 7:45 am. AM hours 7:45AM-12:30PM are not flexible. Afternoon hours have some flexibility.
  • Must be able to work at a computer 6 – 8 hours each day.
  • Non Smoker.
