Dates we were there:    7/9/99 

    We drove into Virginia on our way to Washington, D.C.  We did not make any stops there.  The drive was spectacular, though!  It was just getting dusk and the highway we traveled (I'm not sure which one it was because we were just following Allison & Shane) was surrounded by a thick forest that was beautiful.  It was a short but memorable visit.
